TV

Since we've been trapped in the house, I've turned on the TV for Hinton to watch a couple times. He finds it interesting for about five minutes and then loses interest.

Ice vs. Snow

Yesterday everything was covered in ice. The ice was so heavy it brought tree branches down all over the neighborhood. This is the same tree, one day later:

Hinton's little car has been sitting out in the back yard. The picture on the left was taken yesterday when it was icy. The picture on the right was taken this afternoon. Does it look like we've gotten a little bit of snow?

NW Kids Club

We finally escaped the house (and the snow) for a couple hours this afternoon. We took Hinton to play at the NW Kids Club, an indoor play park.

It was Hinton's first experience with a slide. He did not seem impressed.

It was also Hinton's first time in a sandbox.

He didn't really like it either.

He perked up when Brandon came over.

Snowballs

Brandon tossed some snowballs at the back door, so they would smash against the glass. Hinton thought it was hilarious.

Year One, Week Five

We took Hinton outside to take a look at the snow this morning.

He was NOT impressed.

We got around 4 inches of snow last night. It hasn't melted yet.
