The hat

I think Hinton looks extra cute in this hat. It is the hat he always wears when we go walking. He has the bad habit of taking the hat off mid-walk, and dropping it on the sidewalk. Unfortunately, most of the time I don't notice, and we have to walk the loop again to track it down.

A day of smiles

Hinton was a very smiley little guy yesterday!

Around the ankle

Hinton got his blue ring around his ankle yesterday. This isn't the only toy he has put around his ankle recently.

Week Thirty-Two

Hinton is thirty-two weeks old today.

On the move

Although not yet crawling, Hinton is definitely on the move. In just a few minutes, leaning, twisting, and rolling, he went from sitting in the boppy to being over by the wall.

Games

We played a lot of games while I was there, including Sorry, Life, Uno, and KerPlunk, but the most stressful is always Jenga!

I think the above photo is my favorite of the week. For some reason his expression just makes me laugh. The poochy cheeks get me every time.

Shawn read to Hinton, and gave him lots of hugs. He also acted goofy and made Hinton laugh a lot.

Sophia liked playing with Hinton, and went to check on him often when he was taking his naps.

He LOVED this cow toy!

For the last week, his tongue has been hanging out of his mouth a lot. He discovered his tongue a couple months ago, but I think he just realized he can stick it out.

California

Hinton and I spent a few days in California this week. We flew down so we could attend Sophia's birthday party. She turned four yesterday!
