Year One, Week Twenty

Playdate with Ellie

They had fun chasing each other all over the place.

Ellie put the yellow hat on his head. He took it off, so she chased him down with it.

His bathtime dancing often includes stomping, touching the floor, blowing kisses, and turning around. These are all things he has learned from songs during storytime.

And he turns around and around and around. And tries not to fall over.

Hinton had a good time playing with some balloons last night.

He was crawling on his knees after a balloon.

Sometimes the balloon would disappear.

He tried to pick up both balloons at the same time.

And he succeeded!

Playgroup Today

We had playgroup at our house this morning. I think Hinton was trying to avoid the camera. In the first picture you can almost see him in the bottom left corner, and in the second picture he seems to have placed the basketball very strategically.

The little monkey is sick again

The Rearranger

Yay, Sunshine!

Because we were stroller-less this afternoon (both ended up in the Jeep in Eugene with Brandon, doh!) Hinton and I broke out his monkey pack and walked over to the park.

On the way we examined some leaves . . .

. . . and then headed to the swings . . .

. . . and checked out a big rock, a pinecone, and some sticks . . .

. . . and then it was time to head home.
