Rolston Reunion

Fun with bubbles!

Hinton loves Kiera. "Come on, Kiera. Come on."
She was a really good sport.

Hinton watching his first game of Washoes.

Brandon gave him his first lesson.

If you look at the very top (middle) of the photo on the right you can see the red washoe flying through the air.

He decided it would be easier to get them in if he got a little closer.

All of the kids enjoyed playing in the sand area.

Hinton flicked sand for Ellie (the dog).

Which Ellie loved.

They were best buds by the end of the day.

Hinton skipped his nap this afternoon, so he was asleep in the car before we had even gotten out of town.

Ka-Chow!

I just heard Hinton, not napping. Ka-chow! Ka-chow! Ka-chow!
He was lounging in bed reading a Cars book, of course.

Happy Birthday Grandma Rolston!

Candy Land

We tried to play Candy Land with Hinton this evening. Hinton is still resistant to learning his colors so I thought this might help.

He had fun, but it was kind of hard to keep him focused.

Brandon won. Hinton was happy to celebrate along with daddy.

Newport Aquarium

We had planned to spend the morning at the beach, but it was COLD! So we went to the Newport Aquarium instead.

Alligator Turtle ~~~~~ Crabs
All were HUGE!

My favorite - the jellyfish. I think they are beautiful.

A volunteer had just fed fish to the sea anemones. I had no idea they ate fish.

Walking through the shark tunnel.

Which Hinton found very entertaining.

We made Hinton march so that he would stop kicking the loose dirt. Which he enjoyed. (Both the marching and the kicking).

Just Like His Daddy

Pizza. Yum!

Hinton snagged a piece of bacon off of daddy's plate when he was away, and it was gone by the time daddy got back.

Tasty!

Day out with Thomas

Hinton got to spend the day with Thomas.

What's going on? ~~~~ A tattoo!

There was a Thomas play area with a bunch of train tables set up.

Getting ready to board the train.

All Aboard!

Who is pulling this train? It's Thomas!

Hinton said hi to some of the trains while we waited to meet Thomas.

He also drove his Thomas train along the train track.
I found this to be enormously entertaining.

Thomas & Hinton

He also got to meet Sir Topham Hatt.

Saying goodbye to Thomas for the last time.
