The Day Has Come . . .

Uh oh. Blogger is telling me I just hit my "photo upload quota" or something to that effect. It's been over three years, so I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner. Stay tuned, I'll let you know what I decide to do to remedy the situation.

Week's Sixth Playdate (6 of 6)

Today we had a playdate with some of my friends from Bandon and their kiddos - Jessica (was Beedle), Nacole (was Powers) and Ramie (was Boyd).

Nacole, Jessica and Ramie along with Jaelynn (Jessica's daughter) and Ramie's son (in the swing, also named Judson).

Hinton and Jaelynn decided it was time for lunch, and started unloading our picnic. Hinton set out plates for everyone.

We all had a really good time.

And Kason, of course, slept through most of it.

Kason, Week Twelve

Week's Fifth Playdate (5 of 6)

This afternoon we had a picnic in the park with Hinton's friend Eli

(who we know from both MOMS Club and preschool).

Kason snoozed through lunch.

The boys had a really good time playing together. Their favorite "game" was to chase each other around and around and around in the grass. (For some reason I did not take any pictures of the chase.)

Eli has a little brother too, named Ewan.
(He just turned one year old.)

Week's Fourth Playdate (4 of 6)

Hinton brought his own trains to our regular

Wednesday morning playgroup. (Does this week have a theme?)

Week's Third Playdate (3 of 6)

This afternoon Hinton's friend Adrian
came over for a train playdate.

Which concluded with a trip to the park.

While Kason slept in the Bjorn.

Week's Second Playdate (2 of 6)

We met Hinton's friend Milo (from the MOMS Club and preschool) at the NW Kids Club this morning. Hinton, of course, wasted no time in disappearing into the train room.

Kason entertained himself by chewing on his overalls.

Week's First Playdate (1 of 6)

After keeping the last couple weeks low-key,

we have SIX play dates scheduled in the next four days.

The first was this morning with Jaxx and Paige.

Brandon took some pictures of the boys yesterday morning while I was at work. I bought a knock-off-Bumbo-type-seat for Kason at a yard sale recently. Hinton has claimed it for his own. (Honestly, I'm impressed he can fit in it.) He likes to sit in it while using his Cars table.

He also got some good smiley pictures of Kason.

Week Eleven + One Day

I forgot again, gosh darn it! Well, I remembered several times throughout the day, never got it done, and then remembered again after he was already asleep for the night. Actually momentarily thought about waking him up to take the pictures, but decided that would be too mean.

Splash Pad

It was finally sunny today! We went and played at the Wes Bennett Park splash pad this afternoon. Hinton was pretty hesitant to get wet at first, but by the end he was running through the water having a great time.
