Here are some cute new pictures of Hinton:I just like this picture of him sleeping. It also shows off his newly chubby cheeks. We had our last appointment with the lactation specialist at Salem Pediatrics, and she was very happy with his weight gain. On Thursday he weighed in at 9 lbs, 6 oz; up almost 2 pounds over his birth weight!

Hinton's first attempt at using a pacifier. He wasn't so good at keeping it in his mouth, but seemed interested in it when he did.
This picture is supposed to be primarily of Hinton's new belly button! (It took him a lot longer than 7-10 days to finally lose the cord.) It also shows off his newly chubby belly. Losing the cord means that he will (finally!) get his first real bath. I am waiting until tomorrow to do it, because it is Brandon's day off, and I am not brave enough to attempt this for the first time on my own!
