This morning I told Brandon that I did some reading last night on one of the baby websites I now frequent, and it said that most babies don't roll from their back to tummy until they are 5 - 6 months old, but will start rolling from tummy to back at 3 months. Brandon looked a little put out at this information, since Hinton is now 4 months old and we had yet to see him roll over. (In Hinton's defense - while we will occasionally roll him from his back to his tummy and snap a couple pictures,
we very rarely give him "tummy time" like we are supposed to - he has never seemed to like it much.) So this morning Brandon put Hinton on his tummy. Hinton did a little baby push up, stiffened his left arm, and - plop - pushed himself right over onto his back. He did this a number of times this morning, and we were, of course, highly entertained each time. However, I couldn't get a repeat performance out of him this evening when I actually had the camera handy.
