Hinton goes to Music Class (Romp-N-Roll) on Tuesdays.
We played with shakers during a couple songs.
There is always a train song (during which we march around in circles).
Then we used rhythm sticks.
This is Teacher Chris singing the Mr. Alligator song - Hinton's current favorite.
"Bum, bum, bum." Almost every week Chris works on tonal patterns with each kid individually.
We have a little time to hang out while Chris is working with the other kids.
We played with scarves during one song this week.
Then the kids line up so they can each play guitar. Hinton is not-so-good at the lining up part.
Hinton's turn! He really likes playing the guitar - all the kids do.
Hinton guitar video:
Hinton is "laying down like he's going to go to sleep" - what Teacher Chris tells everyone to do before singing our last song, a lullaby.
After class, Teacher Chris will give the kids stamps. Kids' consensus for the best place to get a stamp? Why, their bellies, of course!
